Course Duration: 6 contact hours
Course Level: This certificate aims to provide students with practical revision in the skills learned on thir original first aid course, before their current first aid Certificate expires. Specialist needs can be addressed on bespoke courses.
Course Content: l Debrief of any first aid cases treated l Resuscitation and care of an unconscious casualtyl Initial and detailed casualty assessment l Care of a choking casualty l Bleeding, wounds & shock l Negotiated delegate needs

Course Outcomes: Students will have refreshed the practical skills, learned on their original first aid course, especially areas of change in technique
Assessment Methods: l 6 hours attendance, certified by your course Trainer l Continuous assessment by your course Trainerl There is no end of course assessment.
Certificate Accreditation: Skills Update Certificate, issued by First Aid Training, an organisation approved by the Health & Safety Executive to conduct statutory first aid education and assessment programmes under the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations. The refreshing of practical skills is recommended in the Management of Health & Safety Regulations
